Diana Henry is an award winning Actress and Voice Over Artist whose career includes work in film, theatre, television, and commercials.
She has starred in Off-Broadway productions and feature films; has had Co-Star roles on TV series such as: "The Equalizer", "The Sinner", “Law & Order”, and has been the voice of many national TV and Radio commercials. Diana is a series lead regular since 2009 on ABC's hit TV series “What Would You Do?” in which she has been featured in a wide variety of roles in over 75 episodes.
In April 2014, Diana captured three NY Emmy Awards for her role as presenting host on "The Lineup: Best Sports Movies", featuring Fran Healy, Spike Lee, Chazz Palminteri, Robert Wuhl and Jeffrey Lyons. She also won the Acting Award that year for the Bronx Council of The Arts (BRIO).
Since moving to NYC in 1993, Diana has also been actively involved with scripted readings; whether in informal settings with friends, new play workshops or staged professional readings. She particularly enjoys assisting writers – creating a productive environment that will allow the writer to fully benefit from the experience. In 2010, she co-founded The Drawing Board — a collective of film and theatre writers and actors dedicated to developing new works through table reads, workshops and staged readings. She continues to be a Producing Host of this successful non-profit company.
Diana is an Acting Instructor at the New York Film Academy, a Teaching Artist for the Riverdale Children's Theatre in the Bronx, and has taught acting at Rutgers University. Additionally, Diana privately coaches actors on scene work and monologues, in particular young students auditioning for entry into performing arts schools.
Education: MFA in Acting at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ studying with Master Teachers William Esper and Maggie Flanigan. BFA in Acting at Miami University of Ohio.
Diana was born in New Haven, Indiana and now lives in the Bronx.
